The Parish Council groundsman works hard to plant and water the planters and baskets in the village. This takes considerable time and money.
It is sad to say that plants are continually getting stolen from the planters.

Please be kind. They are there for everyone to enjoy.

A big thank you to the residents who dropped in at our Saturday Surgery today at Blidworth Library.

With things like overgrown bushes, parking and speeding concerns in the village raised and questions about Section 106 money, police presence, plans to live stream Parish Council meetings, and obscured road signs….there was plenty for Cllr Devine from the Parish Council and Cllr Ward from the County Council to discuss and take away to work on.

These Saturday surgeries will be held each month going forward with dates found in the ‘Events’ section of our page.

Remember, our next Parish Council meeting is Thursday 18th, 7pm at Blidworth Library and you’re welcome to come along.

Unfortunately this evenings Annual Meeting of the Parish Council had to be abandoned due to a member of the public not adhering to the policies and procedures of the Parish Council.
