✨ Wellness & Water Painting at Wellburn House ✨

Today we enjoyed a lovely wellness morning with lots of pampering! 💆‍♀️🧖‍♀️ Our residents enjoyed relaxing face masks, eye masks and lip masks, followed by a soothing hand massage. 💕✨

This afternoon was filled with lots of laughter, chatting and creativity as we enjoyed a fun group water painting session. 🎨😊

A wonderful day full of relaxation, friendship and plenty of smiles! 💗

On Saturday, we celebrated the end of summer in style with a fantastic BBQ! 🌭🍗🥗

There was plenty of delicious food, lots of laughter and a great time enjoyed by all. ❤️

And of course… no party is complete without Shirley Mac! 🎶💃 She certainly helped keep the celebrations going! 🥳

🌟 A Fun-Filled Day at Wellburn House! 🌟

Today our residents enjoyed a fantastic exercise and dance class with Molly! 💃🕺 We had lots of singing, dancing and plenty of fun with props — there were smiles all around! 🎶🎉

Meanwhile, some of our residents headed out on a bus trip. 🚌 Not all trips go quite to plan… and today we didn’t quite make it to the garden centre! 😂🌸

But we weren’t going to let that stop us having a lovely day. We enjoyed a delicious pub lunch 🍽️ followed by some ice cream for dessert. 🍦 Sometimes the unplanned days turn out to be the best ones!

And to finish our lovely day, we headed out for another little ice cream trip to celebrate Jean’s birthday yesterday! 🎂🍦 Ice cream is one of Jean’s favourite things, so what better way to celebrate than with a delicious treat? ❤️

Birthday Girl 🎂✨

Today our birthday girl Margaret wanted to spend her birthday having an Indian for lunch, so we hopped on the bus to Newcastle! 🚌

When we arrived at the restaurant, Dave’s Hot Chicken caught Margaret’s eye, so that’s what she chose! 🍗 Margaret said the food brought back lovely memories of visiting family in the USA. 🇺🇸❤️

After lunch, Margaret enjoyed some coffee, a little shopping and plenty of people-watching before heading home.

But the birthday surprises didn’t stop there! Margaret was delighted to receive a surprise visit from her brother, who had travelled all the way from the USA to see her. 🥰🇺🇸

Yesterday we enjoyed a bus trip over to Sunderland winter garden museum.

We had lots of fun exploring! After a busy morning we headed to the coast for lunch.

No trip is complete with out ice cream 😋🍦
