Dear Parent/carer

We are transitioning our school catering system to School Grid on Monday 1st June. Under this new system, all school meals and additional items must be pre-ordered in advance.

What you need to do:

Look out for: The joining email from school grid, please check your spam/junk folder and following the instructions.

Check your account: Please log in to verify your child’s details and update any dietary requirements or allergies. The new menus are now available to view.

Pre-order meals: Orders can be placed up until 8:55 AM on the day, ensuring your child receives their preferred lunch.

Include extras: All additional items (such as bottles of water) must also be pre-ordered.

Please note: While ordering is done on School Grid, payments must still be made through MCAS. Please ensure your MCAS account has sufficient funds, as you will not be able to complete your order on School Grid without a positive balance.

7FH have worked tirelessly over the last 6 weeks and have produced these fantastic clocks.
We posted a few weeks ago as they were working hard in the workshop to create their shapes and now here they are ready to be hung up at home. What spectacular designs they have made, wouldn't you agree?
And for any pupils who have been absent, remember the workshop is open on Friday lunchtime for catch up - just come along and join in! 😀

We had a brilliant morning with Year 5 at Kingston Park for the Tag Rugby Festival 🏉

Both teams played 5 games and came away with some great wins while representing school brilliantly throughout the morning.

It was great to play against Ovingham, Preston Grange, King Edward’s and Belsay with lots of smiles and enjoyment all morning.

A huge thank you to the Newcastle Rugby Foundation for organising such a fantastic event!

Yesterday afternoon we invited Ovingham for an afternoon of cricket. We had 60 KS2 pupils enjoying an afternoon of cricket, some representing school for the first time. Well done to everyone!

In Music, Year 8 are approaching the end of their Reggae Topic and are completing performance work based on Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. They have been combining bass lines, bass riffs, hooks, chords and drum patterns to form a Reggae band. Great team work and resilience shown by all. Well done! 👏🏻
