Last night at around 19:05 a crew from the station were mobilised to reports of a fire on the moor at the location of previous swaling, on arrival they were met with a fire front of approximately 150 metres, crews worked hard using beaters and scotty packs alongside colleagues from Bovey Tracey Fire Station Chagford Fire Station Princetown Fire Station to bring the incident to a close.

This week we said farewell and happy retirement to Crew manager Paul Turnbull. Paul has dedicated nearly 15 years of service to the station and the community. Thank you very much for your fantastic commitment and service. Enjoy your retirement Paul and thank you from everyone at 56 Princetown.
