Due to an increase in client numbers, The Princes Centre is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team Monday to Thursday.

In this role, youโ€™ll work alongside a diverse group of clients, but will be predominantly supporting our older clients. Weโ€™re looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and passionate about helping others maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

The Princes Centre is a friendly, community-focused day centre supporting adults with a range of needs. Weโ€™re looking for a caring and reliable ๐ƒ1 ๐ƒ๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ to join our team and help transport our lovely clients to and from the Centre each day.

๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎโ€™๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐›๐ž ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง๐ :
- Driving our minibus safely on local routes each morning and afternoon
- Helping clients on and off the vehicle, making sure theyโ€™re comfortable and safe
- Keeping the vehicle tidy and reporting any maintenance issues
- Working closely with our friendly team to make each day run smoothly

๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ:
- A full UK driving licence with D1 category (essential)
- Someone who knows their way around Aylesbury and High Wycombe
- A kind, patient person who enjoys helping others
- Reliable, friendly, and a good communicator

Over the years, weโ€™ve had the privilege of supporting many clients who have worn the uniform, individuals whose strength, resilience, and dedication inspire us every day. Their stories remind us of the courage it takes to serve, the sacrifices made in silence, and the lasting impact that service has on families, friends, and communities.

As we paused and stood with our clients today to reflect, we also remember those who never made it home, the heroes whose absence is felt deeply, yet whose legacy lives on in the freedoms we cherish and the lives they helped protect.

Following a successful six-year collaboration with New Beginnings Nursery in Bourne End, we are delighted to announce the launch of a new intergenerational partnership with Princes Risborough Nursery.

This initiative marks an exciting new chapter for our Risborough Centre. The first session took place this week, filling the room with the wonderful sounds of laughter, cheer, and conversation as children and older adults came together to share stories, activities, and smiles.

Our collaborations are built on friendship, inclusion, and mutual respect, fostering connections without judgement. Though our two organisations care for different generations, we share the same core values: compassion, creativity, and a commitment to providing nurturing environments for all ages.

We are excited to see this partnership grow and to witness the many special moments and meaningful relationships that will develop between the children and our residents in the weeks and months ahead.

โ€ข If I donโ€™t know who you are, donโ€™t take it personally โ€” my timeline is confusing.
โ€ข If I canโ€™t use utensils, donโ€™t feed me right away. Try finger foods so I can still feed myself.
