We’re busting some myths about transferring foster agencies!

Truth: The process is designed to be smooth. In most cases, your fostering payments continue without major interruption.

We consider applications to transfer from another agency to us from any approved foster carer, as long as this is in the best interests of any child/young person in placement and is in full agreement of the child/young person’s placing authority.

We will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible.

Fostering Ltd views our Foster Carers as professionals and as such, we provide a comprehensive training and support package.

Fostering is a difficult and demanding career so this is reflected in the weekly allowance you will be given when you have a child in placement.

We train you with the necessary skills needed to foster and we cover a broad range of topics, courses, and talks during regular training sessions for all our carers.

This training includes topics such as; Attachment, Child and Adolescent Mental Health, Autism and ADHD, The effects of abuse and Neglect and many more.
