Lancashire County Council’s Safer, Greener and Healthier Streets schemes
We are in the process of completing the footway and carriageway improvement works in the Woodnook area. These upgrades have been carried out on and around the carriageway junctions and footways across Woodnook and surrounding streets. The project also includes a new outdoor learning area and woodland walk located behind Woodnook Primary School.
There will be a Drop-in Event where you can meet the team, ask questions, and raise any concerns.
📍 Location: The Woodnook Centre, Royds St, Accrington, BB5 2JH 🗓 Date: Wednesday 17th June ⏰ Time: 4pm – 6pm
For more information about the project, visit our dedicated website: https://lancashire.citizenspace.com/eastlancsluf/

I will be available at Cambridge Street Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon (June 17th) from 2-4pm.

https://c.org/4h4QMRnF9Z A 15-year-old boy in Leyland was viciously attacked by a gang of around 10 teenagers — all but one wearing balaclavas.
This kind of masked violence is becoming far too common. Balaclavas should not be worn in public spaces by young people when they're clearly being used to conceal identity and intimidate.
We need stronger action to tackle this. Please sign and share the petition to help make our streets safer.

Ban children under 18 from wearing balaclavas in public!

I am available for a chat this Friday May 29th 2pm-4pm at Accrington Library.

I would like to extend a big thank you to everyone in Peel who have placed their trust in me to represent them on Hyndburn Borough Council.
Over the past year, as your County Councillor, I have been able to help many residents across the ward. Now, serving at the local level, I will be able to achieve even more where barriers previously held us back. This will benefit not only Peel, but the whole of my county council division.
I look forward to working alongside the newly elected Reform councillors, as well as all my fellow councillors on Hyndburn Borough Council. I have been working hard over the past year to build constructive relationships across the council, and I will continue to do so.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any issues or concerns. Let’s work together to make Hyndburn a better place for all of us.

I’m always happy to hear your suggestions for future surgery times and locations within the division.

Congratulations to Councillor Worthington — her hard work has truly paid off, and she fully deserves this position.
