Turbary Woods Owl & Bird Of Prey Sanctuary Welcome to the official page for Turbary Woods! Open since 2005, we’re a non-profit organisation run entirely by volunteers.

Opening times are 11am - 2pm every day, and our flying display takes place at 12:30pm, weather permitting.

Lovely to see this wild baby Tawny Owl, on our flying field today ❤️❤️
He’s about 5 weeks old which is when, they leave the nest entirely. They are still covered in fluffy down, if they do end up on the floor they use there beaks and talons to climb 🌲 trees.

Kàsh was due to go for surgery tomorrow on both his feet. We sat on the flying field together, and I took this video, & I’m so happy I did.
I have to tell you all Kàsh Man died in my arms about an hour ago. I’m absolutely heartbroken 💔💔💔he’s still lying on the couch next to me. Just not ready to let him go yet x
