Another CPR & AED Awareness session delivered for the Ashton community at the Intact Community Hub in Ingol
It was incredibly good to see so many volunteers attending, getting involved and engaging with what is such a worthwhile and potentially lifesaving skill.

The more people in our communities who know what to do in the event of a cardiac arrest, the greater the chance of someone being able to step in, start CPR and use an AED before emergency services arrive.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and is helping make Ashton a safer, more prepared community. ❤️

Supporting Preston Community First Responders at Penwortham Gala

On Saturday, 13th June, the Rays of Sunlight team attended the Penwortham Gala, where they proudly supported the Preston Community First Responders by raising funds for new lifesaving equipment.

As Deputy Team Leader for the First Responders I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed, volunteered, donated, and supported us throughout the day. Your generosity and encouragement helped make the event a great success.

I am delighted to announce that a total of £235.90 was raised and will be donated towards purchasing new lifesaving equipment for the Preston community.

On behalf of the entire Preston Community First Responders we want to thank you for your continued support. Together, we are helping to make a real difference in our community.
