Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant Needed at Secondary PRU in Lancaster! 🚨
⭐️Full‑Time | Long‑Term | ASAP Start⭐️
We are currently recruiting a full‑time Teaching Assistant to work on a long‑term basis at a secondary PRU in Lancaster, starting as soon as possible.
This alternative provision supports young people aged 11–16 who are struggling to engage with mainstream education. The school offers a safe, caring and supportive environment, helping pupils with behavioural needs, SEMH and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to re‑engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The role will involve:
Supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs
Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Providing calm, consistent and empathetic support throughout the school day
Working closely with staff to create a structured and supportive learning environment

We are looking for someone who has:
Experience supporting children with behavioural needs
Experience working with SEMH and/or trauma
A calm, empathetic approach with strong behaviour management skills
A reliable, resilient and hard‑working attitude
Full‑time availability and readiness to start ASAP
An Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List, or willingness to obtain one immediately
Willingness to complete Reed’s compliance process promptly (if not already completed)

SCHOOL CLEANER REQUIRED IN LANCASTER! 🧼

We are currently recruiting a CLEANER to join a combined Primary and Secondary SEN School in Lancaster. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard‑working individual looking for consistent, part‑time work in a school setting.

Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour
Working Hours (choose one option):
7:30am – 9:00am, Monday to Friday
OR
3:15pm – 5:15pm, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
General cleaning of classrooms, corridors and communal areas
Cleaning toilets and wash areas
Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
Mopping, vacuuming and dusting
Ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times
Following health and safety procedures within a school environment

Requirements:
Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
Clear, Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List OR willingness to obtain one before starting – (A £49.50 deposit is required for a new DBS, refunded after 21 full working days once added to the DBS Update Service)
Overseas applicants must provide an Overseas Police Check alongside Proof of Entitlement to Work in the UK
Must be available to start immediately
Must be willing and able to complete Reed’s compliance process promptly (if not already completed), which includes:
An online application form
A short Teams meeting
Providing required documentation
Two mandatory online learning courses which will each take around ten minutes to complete
Recent and verifiable references must be obtainable
Reliable, hard‑working and friendly approach
