🫶🏽National Grandparent Day 🫶🏽
At the weekend it was grandparent day! 🎉
Grandparents are so special and such an important part of our little peoples lives so we knew we had to celebrate!
We read our new book ‘Gruffalo Granny’ and drew pictures of our parent parents, talking about what makes the different, the same and what we love about them!

We have some news from over the summer! Our wonderful Meg is now level 2 qualified! Meg is passionate, kind and is lots of fun 💕 she is such an asset to our Presteigne little people team. Congratulations Meg we are proud of you! 👏

Conker rolling 🤎
With the changing seasons comes so many opportunities to learn! Today the 3s headed out for a walk and collected conkers, we chatted about the spikes of the case and then opened them up and used them to make art! We counted them in English and Welsh and enjoyed talking about the changing seasons!! Well done 3s

A wonderful morning in the community for our babies! 🌞 we collected blackberries and created some art work! Tided eye style!

Then we had a lovely apple for our snack. What a lovely experience, so much exploration, language and connection to our earth 🌍

Here are some pictures of our wonderful environment! As you can see our home corners have been developed and are bigger parts of our classrooms as we settle our children in and build up a sense of belonging ❤️. We have used real resources we have collected, no plastic around here!! ♻️

Our environments adapt and change over the year to suit our children’s interests and next steps!
