Headway - Portsmouth and South East Hampshire Headway Portsmouth and South East Hampshire was established in 1986, we provide support to people with brain injuries and their families.

Summary of our services:

■ Provide support and information

■ We provide information on all aspects of brain injury free of charge to families. A wide range of information is available for those working with head injury for a nominal charge

■ Contact is maintained with many of the service users, either through group meetings, telephone, email or letter

■ A telephone help-line is available o

n 023 9266 4972. When the office is not staffed an answerphone is available

■ Weekly Support sessions at Portsmouth, Gosport, and Petersfield

■ Weekly support sessions at Portsmouth for family members

■ Activities Programme for Service Users

■ Headway works with the statutory bodies and other voluntary organisations in lobbying for improved services locally for people with Brain injury

■ We strive to raise awareness of the effects of brain injury on the person and the family, and help people re-integrate in the community

🎶 You’re Invited! Celebrate On Shining Waters 🎶

We’re so excited to invite our wonderful community to a very special moment as we celebrate the premiere of On Shining Waters—part of the Portsmouth 100 celebrations marking our city’s centenary year!

Headway Portsmouth Choir took part in this project alongside other choirs, schools, and community groups who all helped bring this music to life and we’d love for you to join us at the big screen premiere:
