It was great to be out in again with Christina Mahboob Cippenham Green and some of the Reform UK team. 🩵

We knocked hundreds of doors and spoke with residents about local issues and concerns. There’s a lot of support for Christina in for the upcoming by-election on Thursday 11th June. 💪

We also gave Christina a Visitors Guide to Portsmouth for when she visits us, hopefully she’ll be Cllr Christina Mahboob then. 😉

Councillor Advice Surgeries

Sorry this has taken a little longer than expected to confirm. I was hoping to find an accessible evening venue, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to secure one at this time.

My advice surgeries will be starting on 10th June and will take place every Wednesday from 2pm to 3pm at Cosham Library.

These are drop-in sessions, so no appointment is needed.

Sessions will be held on a one-to-one basis in a private glass pod, giving residents the opportunity to discuss any concerns, issues, or questions they may have.

I look forward to meeting and speaking with residents.

If you are unable to attend these sessions, I am also available for appointment based meetings. Please get in touch and we can arrange a suitable time.

Wishing Christina the best of luck in the rest of this campaign. Hopefully residents see how hard you’ve worked and they vote !

I’ve watched the body cam footage after finding the emotional preparation to watch it. 😔

It’s truly heartbreaking to see how this young man lost his life. I’ve seen photos of the memorials in place for him, and I can tell he was truly loved by his friends, family and those around him. 🫶

Rest in Peace Henry Nowak! 🕊️

I had a great time in today with some of the Reform UK team supporting Jannette, the candidate for the upcoming council by-election. 🩵

She is a local lady who wants to serve her community and protect the beautiful villages and green spaces in her ward. The area is truly stunning and was a peaceful break from the busy city. 💪

Can you help save the skyline at Portsmouth Cathedral? 🩵

The Cathedral has so much history here in and the skyline tower has stood there for over 300 years with some form of tower being there for more than 800 years. 💪

There’s a chance to repair the skyline for a fraction of the normal price but the work must start by August 2026. Let’s come together and help. 🙏

Our cathedral's timber belfry has stood over Portsmouth's skyline for more than 300 years. Now it urgently needs your help.

This year we have a rare opportunity to carry out essential repairs without the need for full scaffolding, which means we can act now, and at a fraction of the cost. But we need to raise £60,000 to make it happen, and work must begin in August.

The belfry connects the medieval and 20th-century parts of our cathedral, and a tower of some kind has stood on this site for over 800 years. It survived Civil War cannonball damage. We'd rather it didn't fall victim to neglect.

Please support The Big Tower Top-Up and help us protect this piece of Portsmouth's history.
