The warmth of the welcome was only matched by the generosity of the people at the Portstewart Royal British Legion quiz in aid of the RNLI.

Great craic, great company, great food and, of course, a fun quiz! Delighted to say that my team, Simple Minds, took home the trophy. The RBL RNLI Perpetual Trophy no less (see photo)

Even better, an amazing £440.50 was raised for the RNLI.

A huge thank you to Heather and Richard, quizmaster Graham, and everyone at the Portstewart RBL for a fantastic evening and for supporting Portrush Lifeboats.

It was lovely to meet Moore again, the Lady Captain at Whitehead Golf Club. 🏌️‍♀️💙

During her Captain’s Day, Gillan raised an incredible £2,200+ for Portrush RNLI — what a wonderful amount! 👏👏

A huge thank you to Gillan and all the lady golfers GC for their incredible generosity and support. Your kindness makes such a difference to our lifeboat crew and the work of Portrush RNLI. ❤️

A huge thank you to the incredibly generous people of Portstewart today.

We raised around £950 from our collection — an absolutely incredible amount!

A special thank you to Sharon, our Vice Chair, and to all the fundraisers who gave up their time to come along and collect. It was a real team effort, and we’re so grateful to everyone who donated and supported us.

The atmosphere in Belfast was electric today for the Fleadh! 🎶 It was wonderful chatting to so many people enjoying such a diverse range of music, and especially lovely to see so many talented young people getting involved.

Fundraising can often be a struggle, but there are moments that remind you exactly why it is so worthwhile.

Today, I met a lovely woman who spoke with such heartfelt gratitude about her son’s life, after he was rescued by the RNLI a few years ago. She became very emotional as she shared her story, and we had a really special moment together.

It’s moments like this that stay with you and make every bit of the fundraising effort feel worthwhile.

A huge thank you to Karl and the crew at the Portrush Lifeboat station for giving our RNLI fundraising and shop volunteers such a fantastic tour of the lifeboat.

It was a real privilege to gain a valuable insight into the operational side of the RNLI and to see first-hand the incredible capabilities of the Severn-class All-Weather Lifeboat (AWB). Learning more about the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork behind every launch helps us better understand the vital role our fundraising plays in supporting the lifesaving work of the crew.

Experiences like this inspire us even more to continue raising funds and awareness for the RNLI. Thank you again to everyone at the station for making us so welcome and for sharing your knowledge and passion with us.
