Our councillors meet at 6pm next Tuesday (8 September) and you can watch live 👀 💻 📱

Full Council is the name given to a meeting where all of our 50 councillors are due to attend. The agenda is published online a week before the meeting.

Tuesday's agenda includes:

👥 Our Youth Justice Plan for 2026/27
🏘️ Residential care for children in North Somerset

🚧 M5 St George’s Bridge Renewal Works 🚧

National Highways is carrying out renewal works on St George’s Bridge, north of Junction 21 on the M5.

Drivers may experience occasional overnight closures while the work takes place. Please plan ahead and check for updates before travelling.

VANS has launched a new Volunteers Forum for North Somerset!

We are looking for steering group members to form and shape the volunteers forum. Could this be you?

The forum will bring local volunteers together to share experiences, exchange ideas and help shape the future of volunteering across the area. It aims to be a strong Voice for Volunteers, providing a supportive space to discuss what matters and work collaboratively to improve volunteering opportunities for everyone.

With service X10 you can now stay out later. With evening buses back at 19:00 and 21:15 from Cribbs Causeway Bus Stn towards Portishead, Clevedon, Yatton, Congresbury Langford and Wrington.

There are also earlier buses from Wrington at 06:30 towards Southmead Hospital and at 07:20 as far as Yatton.
