There’s something rather lovely about escaping to Court House Farm as the seasons change.

Court House Farm wasn't always the beautiful, welcoming place you see today.

When Helen and Mick took on the property, the medieval and Tudor buildings had suffered years of neglect. What followed has been a true labour of love - carefully restoring the Manor, outbuildings and gardens while respecting the history and character of this remarkable place.

Today, Court House Farm is once again a place filled with life - welcoming guests for creative retreats, celebrations, peaceful stays and gatherings.

And the restoration continues. There is always another corner to uncover, another project to take on and another piece of its history to bring back to life.

Our evening with Kaffe Fassett & Brandon Mably was about so much more than the talk 💫

It was a wonderful gathering of people who share a love of colour, textiles and creativity, all coming together in our beautiful Tudor Manor.

There were books to be signed, beautiful fabrics to browse and buy, conversations to be had and plenty of excitement as everyone had the chance to meet Kaffe and Brandon and hear them talk about their remarkable creative lives.

There was such a lovely atmosphere in the Manor that evening, a room full of people who may have arrived as strangers but were united by a shared passion for making and colour.

✨ A very special evening, made even more memorable by the wonderful people who joined us.

🎨✨ Looking back on a very special evening…

What a wonderful evening we had with Kaffe Fassett & Brandon Mably at Court House Farm, as part of their 6 day retreat here.

It was such a privilege to welcome these two internationally renowned colourists to our Tudor Manor and hear them share stories from their extraordinary creative journeys, their love of colour and the inspiration behind their work.

The atmosphere was relaxed, intimate and full of creativity, with a wonderful audience who came together to listen, learn and enjoy the evening.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a memorable occasion - and, of course, to Kaffe and Brandon for sharing their time and inspiration with us.

Ask our guests what they remember about their retreat and, more often than not, the food gets a mention 🥗

From delicious lunches enjoyed in the garden to beautifully prepared evening meals, morning coffee and, of course, plenty of homemade cake, chef Kirsty makes sure that everyone is wonderfully fed throughout their stay.

The food is fresh, colourful, nutritious and full of flavour - and it's all part of what makes a Court House Farm retreat feel so special.

Because when you're spending your days creating, chatting, laughing and relaxing, there's nothing quite like sitting down to a really good meal.
