Please join us in wishing Eirlys all the very best as she steps down from volunteering at Taibach Community Library after eight years of dedicated service.

Many of you will have seen Eirlys at the library over the years, offering a warm welcome and helping to keep everything running. We are incredibly grateful for her time, commitment and support, and thank her for all she has done for our library and community.

We wish Eirlys a very well-deserved break, and hope she will pop in to see us whenever she is passing - she will always be welcome at Taibach Community Library.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all of our library users of the importance of treating our volunteers and fellow visitors with respect and consideration at all times.

Taibach Community Library should be a welcoming, safe and comfortable place for everyone. Our volunteers and library users have the right to carry out their work, study and activities without fear of intimidation, abuse or aggression.

Threatening, abusive, aggressive or violent behaviour will not be tolerated. Where necessary, incidents will be reported to the police and the library will cooperate fully with any investigation.

A reminder of some of the fantastic services available at Taibach Community Library, including books, free Wi‑Fi and public computers, printing and photocopying, stationery, free SIM cards for eligible customers, food recycling bags, dog waste bags and our free children’s football loan.

The wait is nearly over… Taibach Community Library reopens its doors tomorrow! 🥳📖

After our short closure, we’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back and getting back to doing what we love - serving our community. ❤️

Whether you’re coming in to borrow a book, use our computers and Wi-Fi, pick up some stationery, have a browse, or simply pop in for a chat, we’ll be ready to welcome you! ☕️📚

We're pleased to let you know that Taibach Community Library will reopen from Tuesday 1 September.

Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during our temporary closure. We really appreciate the support and kind messages we've received.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Afternoon Tea in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we're delighted to share that together we raised £507 for this fantastic cause! 🎉

Whether you joined us for tea and cake, made a donation, baked something delicious, volunteered your time, or simply helped spread the word – every contribution made a difference.

Join us today at Taibach Community Library as we support Breast Cancer Now’s Afternoon Tea fundraising campaign.
