Adult Learning in the Community would like to invite you to our upcoming Open Days, where prospective learners can explore the wide range of opportunities available for the new academic year. Visitors will have the chance to find out more about our GCSE and A Level qualifications, as well as our wider course offer, speak with our supportive staff, take part in taster activities, and access our latest prospectus. Whether individuals are looking to return to education, gain qualifications, or develop new skills, our Open Days offer a welcoming and informative environment to learn more and take the next step.

Taibach cross resurfacing - The works will not be going ahead this evening, again heavy rain is forecast, there are plans to close again Friday night 10pm - 7am. There is one more shift needed to complete the works.

Harbourside road will also be delayed until Monday the 15th of June (Night closure)

As of 09/06 Road closure update, again due to weather the works at Taibach Cross have been delayed again. This will not close this evening but will be Wednesday 10/6 and 11/06 Thursday night instead.

Harbourside road is also delayed by one more day which will now be Friday night 12/06.

Sorry for all the posts we are trying to keep you updated as best we can for the closures as this is a ongoing issue with the rainfall during the nights.

This is only a small part of what we do as ward Councillors. We have some ongoing reports which due to legal reasons we are not allowed to post regarding, this is always the case when legal notices, investigations or other organisations are involved.

Changes as of the 08/06/26 - Road closures for road resurfacing
