It looks like we've still got the grand raffle prize unclaimed, so we're going to auction it off here.

The prize is a one night stay for two people in a sea view suite with breakfast and three-course dinner at the Legacy Hotel Victoria in Newquay which has an indoor pool and spa - www.hotel-victoria.co.uk. It's worth at least £200, and the voucher is valid until 1st March (Xmas and NY excluded). This would make a seriously good Christmas present for someone.

We'll let this auction run until midday on Wednesday.

THANK YOU to everyone who came along to We Shall Overcome Cornwall - to the bands, the comedians and to everyone who gave us their time and energy. We've just about recovered now and are reflecting on a truly amazing weekend of music and comedy.

I'm absolutely delighted to say that we raised over £1000 for CPR FoodBank in total, plus a huge load of food donations (final figure to come once the bar have done their full count, but they've given us a ballpark). That is an amazing achievement and makes me very proud to be Cornish.

Very special thanks to Duchy Hockey Club who donated a fistful of notes and coins on Saturday and left me speechless! Also huge thanks to Heartlands Cornwall who gave us the venue.

If anyone would like to join us when we go in to the foodbank to give them their cheque later this week to have a look at how this money will be spent let us know, would be great to see you there.

We're all really proud to have been part of this and glad that the anger we all feel about the unfairness of austerity policies has been channeled into something so positive. I know the national team are already talking about doing it all again next year, so watch this space!

Tonight's the night! We SHALL Overcome austerity and poverty in Cornwall!

We hope to see loads of you tonight but if you can’t make it PLEASE help the cause by buying some raffle tickets - the prizes are worth over £500. You can Paypal the money today and we will allocate your raffle tickets.

The prizes on Friday night include:
