We have merged with Newport City Homes and we are now Hedyn.

If you live in a former Melin or NCH home, we are writing to you all with all the information you need but don't worry, you don't need to do anything. Your occupation contract remains as it was.

You may notice that some of our vehicles look different and that people visiting your homes will be wearing Hedyn branded uniforms.

You can always ask to see a Hedyn ID badge if you want to check someone's identity. You can also contact us on 0300 1212 345.

Hedyn is here!

As of today our merger with Newport City Homes is complete and we are now known as Hedyn.

You may notice that some of our vans look different and the people who visit your homes are wearing a different uniform, please feel free to ask them for ID if you want to check that they are Hedyn employees.

Hedyn is almost here!

After a year in the making, we're nearly ready for our merger with Newport City Homes, which is due to happen on 1 April 2025. At this point we will become Hedyn.

We're busy in the background getting everything ready, but watch this space for more information about Hedyn!

On Monday, residents at Ty Cae Nant in Cwmbran were treated to a wonderful performance from the Linden Singers, an all-female choir from Torfaen. Everyone had a lovely evening of musical entertainment and joined in with the singing. Thank you to the ladies from the Linden Singers for bringing a smile to the faces of our lovely Ty Cae Nant residents!

Spring and sonnets were in the air at our sheltered schemes recently as a poetry competition got the creative juices flowing. We had lots of entries that would all make Dylan Thomas proud. Pictured is Jackie, who's poem was one of the winners. It was too good not to share. Our Communities and Independent Living teams loved reading all the entries
