🌟 Carers Week 2026 – Building Carer Friendly Communities 🌟
Next week is Carers Week (8–14 June 2026), and this year’s theme is Building Carer Friendly Communities.
The Torfaen Adult Carers Team has been working closely with the Community Capacity Team to identify and celebrate some of the fantastic community groups and organisations that are already going above and beyond to support unpaid carers. 💚
Throughout the week, we’ll be out and about to:
✨ Showcase the amazing community groups we already have
✨ Raise awareness of the needs of unpaid carers
✨ Highlight what carer-friendly practice looks like in real life
✨ Celebrate and promote good practice across our communities
