Kids Workshops coming up in July 2026.

**Please note there has been a change to the date for the Workshop at Oakhill (on 7th July) -the workshop will now be held on the 8th of July**

Kids will be delivering various Workshops at the Family Hubs across the Wakefield District.

The Workshops:
Introduction To Neurodiversity :
This is a bespoke workshop for Parent Carers, that builds understanding on Autism, ADHD and PDA.

Behaviour As Communication:
This workshop explores an introductory strategy to understand behaviour that is being communicated.

Pathological Demand Avoidance Workshop:
Introduction to PDA.

Anxiety Workshop :
Exploring and understanding Anxiety.

Children don’t come with a set of instructions!

1 June marks Global Day of Parents and celebrates the critical role parents and carers play in raising happy, healthy children.

But parenting doesn’t come with a handbook - sometimes it helps to know you’re not the only one figuring things out as you go.

Our programmes support parents from birth through to age 12, covering everything from child development and behaviour to key transitions and everyday challenges.

They’re a chance to come together with other parents to share, learn, and support each other in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No judgement, just understanding.
