This is the start of my plan to create a magical retreat in Lapland either wood huts or wooden treehouses, I am going to travel up to Lapland and learn all about their wondrous culture, nature, and how to survive from absolutely nothing, such as fish, meat, berries, nuts, and generally respect their culture. The plan is to get a group of people together who are like me, up for fun and adventure, willing to take a risk, but also have great respect for nature, conservation, and protecting the traditional way of life of the local people. Will look to learn the language and the alphabet, and hope that with the right team of people who have energy and enthusiasm we can create something special with a great link to the locals, and get regular visitors linked into the café we are opening in Plymouth, to make it viable, as well as what it is mainly about and that is adventure, and conservation, and promotion of traditional culture and craftsmanship, and creativity, and fun. The skies are what truly have inspired me to set my heart on Lapland, as it is so incredibly magical that I can envisage sipping tea, boiled on the fire in an old tin kettle, and cooking a load of fish caught from pristine lakes and rivers, looking up at this winter spectacular.
