Plymouth was flattened by the Blitz but we dusted ourselves off, and got on with it, showing true resilience – that same spirit lives on through us today.

We are proud to be from Plymouth, we didn’t give up back then and we certainly won’t give up right now!

An immigrant from Sudan has been arrested for attempting to behead an Irish man in Belfast, stabbing him repeatedly in the head and neck.

Reform UK won’t stop this. Rob Jenrick and Suella Braverman were in charge of the border when he arrived in the UK in early 2023.

He claimed asylum in Belfast and was granted leave to remain under their watch.
This would NEVER happen under a Restore Britain government.
We will secure our borders, stop the boats, and deport foreign criminals and failed asylum seekers immediately. British people first.

Today as Branch Organiser for Restore Britain, I went down to Plymouth Flavour Fest to see what was really on offer in our city centre.

Out of 24 stalls selling meat, 12 were openly advertising halal. That’s 50%.

And that’s just what they were happy to show us.
One stall wasn’t even advertising it! No signs, nothing on the front. But when we looked closer, there was a folded box in the background clearly marked HALAL. They’re not even being upfront about it anymore.

How many of the other stalls are the same? How many are quietly serving halal without telling customers? We already caught one hiding it. This is not transparency - this is deception.

Let’s be clear about what halal actually means.

Halal slaughter involves cutting the animal’s throat while it is fully conscious, no pre-stunning. It is widely recognised as a barbaric and outdated method that causes unnecessary suffering. In a civilised country like Britain, we should demand better standards of animal welfare, not import practices that belong in the 7th century.

This isn’t about “choice” or “diversity.” It’s about whether British food festivals, British high streets, and British culture are going to be shaped by British values or gradually replaced.

Restore Britain will ban non-stun halal and kosher slaughter.

No exceptions.

Animals deserve protection from cruelty, and the British people deserve honesty about what they’re eating.

We will not allow our traditions, our standards, or our way of life to be eroded stall by stall, town by town.

What an incredible day at the Restore Britain Branch Organisers Training Event.

It was inspiring to meet so many dedicated people from all across the country, all united with one goal in mind, to ultimately save our glorious country. The training was insightful, motivating and full of practicle ideas I can’t wait to put into action.

A special thank you to Rupert Lowe and the team for their time, leadership and commitment to the cause.

I am proud to be part of this journey and excited about what lies ahead for our branch and the wider movement!
