Travel Derbyshire On Demand
Notts & Derby have been awarded the contract by East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) to provide the Travel Derbyshire OnDemand service.

Resuming service from Tuesday 1 September, Travel Derbyshire OnDemand offers a flexible public transport service that differs from traditional bus services.

Instead of following a fixed route and schedule, these buses allow you to book your journeys for the specific time you wish to travel, making it a personalised and more efficient way to use public transport.

Journeys can be booked online through the app and setting up an account - this can be downloaded as follows:

iOS: ‎Nottsbus On Demand App - App Store
Android: Nottsbus On Demand – Apps on Google Play

Alternatively, bookings can be made over the phone by calling 0115 804 0404 - please note: The phone line is only open Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 or Friday 08:30 - 16:30 (excluding Bank Holidays)

**PILSLEY HISTORY EVENT**
We just wanted to say a huge thank you to the people who came along to see us yesterday. It was fantastic listening to people's stories and sharing all their pictures and memories with them.

Thank you to those who saw our book request and brought them in for us.

Our next drop in sessions is Tuesday 22nd September 5pm-8pm at the Village Hall.

We look forward to seeing you all!

Hi everyone. We are looking to aquire a copy of this book. Ideally if possible to purchase from Stephanie but we are having trouble contacting her.
We are at the sports pavilion today until 4pm if Stephanie is around we would love to speak to her about the history of Pilsley for out history event.

Tomorrow is our first information drop in sessions for our history event. If you have any information to share with us then please come along to the sports pavilion between 11am and 3pm!

On Saturday 14th November we will be having our Pilsley History Event. We will be taking you back to the beginning and through the years right up until today.
However, there is only so much that we can get from Google. The answers to the history questions lie within the community!

Have you been a resident all your life? We're your family bought up here? Do you remember or have pictures of how the Village used to look?

We want to hear about it all!

We will be holding 2 drop in sessions where you can come and share your information with us.

Thursday 3rd September at the sports pavilion 11am-3pm
Tuesday 22nd September at the village hall 5pm-8pm

If you cannot attend any of these sessions then you can also send your stories to [email protected]

🎉 Celebrating 30 years of service! 🎉

This month marks an incredible 30 years since our Groundsman, Kevin, joined the Parish Council in August 1996.

For three decades, he has worked tirelessly to keep our village’s open spaces clean, tidy and well maintained—and his pride in Pilsley is clear for everyone to see.

Reflecting on his anniversary, he said:

“I like working outdoors, so it is a good role for me. I take pride in the village and enjoy seeing an area clean and tidy after I have worked on it. It’s a lovely village and it’s nice to work in such a friendly place.”

We would like to thank Kevin for his outstanding commitment, hard work and dedicated service to Pilsley over the past 30 years. It is a fantastic achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated.

Please join us in congratulating him on this very special milestone! 👏🌳🌻

**ITS PICNIC DAY!!!!**
Today is our final picnic in the park! We will be at Samsons field (bokkers, behind the shop) from 12pm-2pm

Hoping the wet weather stays away, we will have our little games and ice cream box ready for you all.
