A report came in of an attempted break-in at around 4:30am, in the Lion Hill/Friday Street area. Images captured of an older, white man and the police are informed.
The owner’s dog scared him off.

Stone Cross Stone Cross WindmillStone Cross Windmill we are open!!! Sunday 1st June, 12-4 for all the usual teas, tours and tombola. No Morris dancers but if you ask nicely I’m sure the volunteers may oblige.
We are a local landmark, untouched by the Luftwaffe, and used on many of the local pictures and named on many of the the new housing estates and raids. We still mill so hoping to have flour for sale please support this local landmark, which survives solely on volunteers and grants. Pop along and see your sweeps, governors and bin floor.
