We’re incredibly grateful to Hampshire County Council for supporting our work. From our base here in Hampshire, our Hounds go on to form life-changing partnerships with members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services across the country.

When Di thinks about leaving a gift to Hounds for Heroes in her Will, she thinks about the people it could help in the future.

Training an Assistance Dog takes time, funding, hard work and dedicated volunteers. Di hopes her gift will help our growing charity train more Hounds and bring them together with people who need their support in the years ahead.

** UPDATE due to cloud cover Lorna has a new flight date of 30th October... even more time to inspire donations!**

Today, Lorna is taking her volunteering to new heights. Quite literally! ✈️💙

She’s doing a wing walk to raise funds for Hounds for Heroes. Yes, that means standing on the wing of a plane while it takes to the skies! We’re all buzzing for her, and her friends and family have been sharing their support in their own way:

“I’d like to say ‘enjoy it’, but that may be pushing things a bit...”

“Take care, personally I would prefer a seat near the aisle.”

We can’t argue with that. 😂

Lorna, thank you so much for everything you do for us and for taking on something this brave. We’ll be cheering you on from the ground and can’t wait to see the photos! Good luck! You’ve got this! 🐾

One whole year of Minnie and Fletcher! 🎉🐾🏹

We can’t quite believe these two assistance dog puppies in training are one already, but what a first year they’ve had! They’ve taken on new experiences, grown in confidence, learnt so much and given us plenty to smile about along the way.

A huge thank you to their incredible puppy parents, trainers, and sponsors for helping make their journey possible.

Today is Emergency Services Day, and we’re celebrating all the people and animals who serve or have served across the UK’s Emergency Services.

A huge good luck to the North Team at Elanco Animal Health, who will be taking on a 13-mile walk along Hadrian’s Wall tomorrow! 👏

Their walk will also help kick-start the fundraising for their colleagues’ 50-mile Mercy Dog Challenge this November. What a team effort!

We’re so grateful to everyone at Elanco for getting behind Hounds for Heroes. We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 💙🐾

A big thank you to Tesco Petersfield for donating this fantastic movie hamper to Hounds for Heroes! 💙

Chelsea has already started her movie-night shortlist: Air Bud, Homeward Bound or 101 Dalmatians. Unsurprisingly, Air Bud is the early favourite… 🎬🐾

Having the support of businesses in our local community means so much to us. Donations like this give our fundraising a real boost when we’re out and about at local events, helping us raise vital funds for our Hounds and their partnerships.
