We are delighted to be running a National Pool Lifeguard Course at Peterhead Leisure & Community Centre.

Our course will be delivered from Monday 19th- Friday 23rd of October.

Course Prerequisites –
All candidates must meet the following criteria before starting the course.
➑️Be 16+ years of age on the date of assessment.
➑️Jump / dive into deep water.
➑️Swim 50 metres in no more than 60 seconds.
➑️Swim 100 metres continuously on front and 100m continuously on back.
➑️In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds.
➑️Surface dive to the floor of the pool.
➑️Climb out of the pool unaided without using a ladder / steps where the pool design permits. See less

A huge thank you to everyone who joined our Summer Programme this year. It has been fantastic to see children and young people making friends, trying new activities, building confidence and creating lasting memories.
