With all this rain at the moment - The Ponds and Waterfalls in the Railworld Wildlife Haven are really being topped up .... When we built the 'Globe Hall Earth Centre' (GHEC) - it took the volunteers 19 years to complete, we had to raise funds as we went along! The roof of the GHEC provides all the rainwater for the ponds etc ..... Here are a few photos taken over the years showing the gradual progress of the ponds and waterfalls..

Thanks a million folks - took this photo yesterday- amazing place 300 metres from our City of Peterborough centre ❤️ no bad conversion from an old derelict coal yard purchased by our Founder Rev Richard Paten back in 1985 and donated to the charity to create something special for Richard’s home city ❤️

Self Funded - The Volunteers and Specialist Contractors - Continue their work on Research Test Vehicle 31 - In truth RTV 31 was only intended to last 2 or 3 years for experiments on the Linear Drive Motor. But Volunteers had other ideas when helped by ex-employees and Rev Richard Paten they saved RTV 31 in 1994 from the Scrapmen to tell the 'Cambridgeshire Hovertrain Story'
