Abbotsmede is a wonderful multi-cultural school to be part of, the behaviour of the children and their desire to learn is excellent. They are supportive of each other and warmly welcome the new arrivals to the area and work hard to achieve good progress throughout their time with us. In our last Ofsted inspection children said that ‘Everybody is lucky to be at this school. It is like another home

to me.’

Our inclusive school currently has 440 pupils from age 3-11 who come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. The curriculum we offer aims to prepare and develop children’s academic, social, emotional and cultural skills, in order that they will achieve their potential in life. ‘Only Our Best Is Good Enough’ is a motto that I fully believe in and expect children, parents, staff and Governors to adhere to.
