The Parish Council is delighted to welcome James Francis, who was co-opted as a Parish Councillor at last night's meeting.

James was elected as District Councillor for the Yaxley and Farcet Ward in May and believes that serving on both councils will create a natural bridge between the two, helping to address and resolve issues that matter most to our community.

We look forward to working with James and benefiting from the experience and connections he brings to the role.

It would appear that consuming a certain popular fast-food meal has an unexpected side effect: it renders people completely unable to carry their wrappers the remaining 8 metres to the nearest bin. πŸ”πŸ€”

For anyone affected by this condition, we're pleased to report that our recreation ground is equipped with several bins specifically designed to accept burger boxes, cups, bags, plastic bottles and other takeaway debris.

Please help keep the recreation ground clean and tidy so everyone can enjoy it. Your wrappers have completed their journey β€” now they just need to make the final 8 metres!

Thank you from everyone who uses and enjoys the park. 😊
