🚶‍♂️💚 Our GEMS students recently took part in a mental health charity walk, showing fantastic teamwork and commitment for a great cause.

After creating their own T-shirts, students walked to Central Park, completed the full route around the park, and returned to school — walking for around 2 hours in total!

Together, they raised an amazing £80 for charity. Well done to everyone involved! 👏

💙 Charity Head Shave for Prostate Cancer 💙

On Friday 22nd May, Mr Fletcher bravely volunteered for a charity head shave in support of Prostate Cancer awareness 🎗️✂️

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have raised an amazing £500 so far! 🙌💙

Our GEMS students had a fantastic time decorating cupcakes and showing off their creativity! 🎨🧁

From colourful icing to fun toppings, their designs looked amazing and everyone had lots of fun taking part. 💛

💐 Michelle Moran, our Lead Practitioner Family Liaison, was delighted to receive gifts of flowers and chocolates in recognition of going above and beyond while supporting the local authority. 💝

✨ Michelle’s dedication, care and commitment make a real difference, and this thoughtful gesture was a wonderful way to acknowledge her hard work. 👏

Last week’s staff wellbeing session at Trinity was a great opportunity to pause, connect and focus on wellbeing. 💙

These sessions take place weekly across both sites and are already proving to be very beneficial for staff. 🙌

RBA Careers and Work Experience Week 2026 ✨
What an incredible week our Year 10 and 11 students have had at RBA! 👏
Students took part in a wide range of careers, enterprise and work experience activities, gaining valuable insight into different industries and developing important employability skills for the future. 🌟

From visiting KIER Construction Headquarters and exploring surveying, computer modelling and VR building site tours 🏗️, to hands-on health and social care experiences at ARU Peterborough 🩺, our students embraced every opportunity.
They also enjoyed sessions with Burmor Construction, Cross Keys Homes, Morgan Sindall, Select Hire, M Group, Peterborough College’s Centre for Green Technology, and Peterborough United Youth Hubs – learning about teamwork, interview skills, CV writing, construction, engineering, green technology and much more. 🔧📋💡
A particular highlight of the week was our Mock Interview Day, where volunteers from a range of organisations gave their time to support and inspire our students. The feedback about our young people was fantastic – they were praised for being positive, engaging and impressive throughout. 👏🎉
A huge thank you to all of the businesses, organisations and professionals who supported the week and helped make it such a success. Your time, expertise and encouragement made a real difference. 🙌

🍕🌍 Neptune Class have been busy learning (and creating!) this week!

First up: pizza making — delicious teamwork and lots of new skills in action 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳✨

They’ve also been working on an exciting Green Earth Project, designing and building model bug hotels 🐞🏨 and homes 🏠 using their creativity and problem-solving skills ♻️💡
