Important Update: Reporting Damp and Mould

To help us respond more quickly and effectively to reports of damp and mould, we will be introducing a new set of questions when you contact us.

These questions will help us better understand the issues in your home, assess any potential risks, and prioritise inspections where they are needed most. By gathering the right information at the outset, we can ensure that vulnerable households and more urgent cases receive support as quickly as possible.

This approach is also being introduced to support new requirements from the Scottish Government aimed at improving how social landlords identify, assess and respond to damp and mould issues. The information you provide will help us meet these requirements and ensure we take the most appropriate action for your household.

We appreciate your cooperation in answering these questions, as it will help us provide a more responsive and effective service.

Thank you to all tenants who took part in the recent consultation on how you want us to spend your rent money.

A total of 437 tenants responded, and you can read a detailed summary of what tenants told us their priorities are.

Some feedback on the results was given to tenants at the Tenant Drop-in event held on Thursday 26 June.

The detailed results will now be analysed. Your feedback will be used to pull together several options for rent levels for 2027/28, reflecting where tenants told us they want to see investment when it comes to Housing Services.

Tenants will be asked to vote on the proposed rent level options between October and December 2026.

Thanks again to everyone who took the time to provide their views. It’s very important that we work closely with our tenants so we can continue to improve your Housing Services.

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Tenant Drop-In event on Thursday 25 June!

It was a very busy day, and it was fantastic to see so many tenants speaking to Housing staff about their homes and neighbourhoods, and finding out about a range of Council and partner services available to them.

Tenants were also given feedback on the recent consultation we carried out on how you would like us to spend your rent money.

If you would like to find out more about how you can get involved in shaping the decisions that affect your Housing Services, you can call 01738 476165 or email the team at [email protected]
