Hi everyone,

As we did last year, over the next 10 days, we will be auctioning off a few bags of our cut-up wooden crates, with the money raised being donated to Shelter Scotland and Perth & Kinross Foodbank.

We will also match and donate the amount of the winning bid.

The festive period is once again upon us, and many of us are looking forward to a cosy house full of friends and family, gifts, and home-cooked food on Christmas. Unfortunately, there are thousands of people across Scotland, including children, who will spend the festive period alone, without food and a roof over their head.

While we can't completely solve these issues ourselves, with your help, we would like to help out.

This is why we are auctioning off some bulk bags filled with cut-up kiln-dried spruce and birch crates. The money raised by the auctions will be donated to Shelter Scotland and the Blairgowrie Food Bank.

These crates have been cut into 25cm lengths, and make for great kindling and firewood.

The bidding for the first bag will run for three days, starting from today (Tuesday 2nd December until Friday 5th). We will deliver this bag free of charge locally to the winning bidder.

The starting price will be £40, and you can leave your bids for the first bag in the comments below this post.
