Calling all Perth and Kinross Council tenants.

We want to hear from tenants about how you want to see your rent money invested in homes and housing services.

It’s very important that we understand what matters most to tenants when it comes to spending money on housing services, new homes, repairs, your neighbourhoods and housing improvements. A consultation has now been launched so you can give us your views.

People can take part on the Council’s Consultation Hub - consult.pkc.gov.uk/communities/spending-to-improve-housing-services/

If you receive a paper copy of On The House magazine through the post we will include a consultation form. You can complete the form and return it to us in the envelope provided.

Everyone who takes part has the chance to win one of four £50 shopping vouchers.

Feedback on the results will be provided at the Summer Tenant Conference event for tenants on Thursday June 25, where people will have the chance to ask Housing Managers questions on spending priorities.

Your comments, suggestions and ideas will allow us to develop some rent level options for next year to deliver on your priorities, and tenants will vote on these options later this year.

Please take a few minutes to tell us what you want to see your rent money spent on.

The consultation is open until Monday 8 June.

With warmer weather bringing more people outdoors across Perth and Kinross, it is important to be mindful of the increased risk of wildfires.

Most wildfires are caused by human activity and are preventable. Please avoid lighting fires or using disposable barbecues outdoors, especially during dry conditions. A small spark can quickly spread and cause serious damage to wildlife, farmland and local communities. There is no such thing as a harmless fire.

For further advice on preventing wildfires visit the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service website at www.firescotland.gov.uk/outdoors/wildfires/
