🗓 Save the date! Your Summer Reading Challenge adventure starts on Saturday, 27 June.

🎶📚 The 2026 Summer Reading Challenge theme is Read to the Beat!, created in partnership with Universal Music Group UK, and will use the power of music to inspire children to enjoy reading and discover great stories.

The challenge is free and open to children aged 4–11. Over the summer holidays, children are invited to read six books, with a fun focus on music, sound and storytelling.

Families can sign up at any Culture Perth & Kinross library. Children will receive a challenge pack, collect stickers along the way, and earn a certificate and medal when they complete the challenge.

A great way to keep children reading over the summer and feeling confident for the new school year. 🎵📖
