Local fire crews had the great pleasure of meeting up with the ex Royal Marines doing their incredible “bootneck yomp” from John O’ Groats to Lands end End in Penzance today.

They are raising money for Combat Stress, Royal Marines charitable trust, Papyrus (Youth Su***de prevention), Alzheimers society and Cancer Research.

If you are able to contribute to their very worthwhile causes their just giving page can be found at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/bootneckyomp25?utm_medium=CR&utm_source=CL

HAVE YOUR SAY!

You can have your say in how your Fire and Rescue Service is run by completing our CRMP survey.

The CRMP stands for Community Risk Management Plan and is our way of identifying risks facing the community and then describing how we as a Fire and Rescue service will address those risks and prevent and respond to fires and other emergencies.

In short it is our organisational plan for the future.

For the best possible CRMP it needs to be produced with input from you the people we serve.

Please click on the link below and have your say.

Watch the video to find out more about standard response times and why we are reviewing them.
