Earlier this year, ten volunteers had a condensed series of training on Listening, Doorknocking and moving with residents into action .... happy to hear after a series of conversations a project has emerged the residents are now driving in the notoriously bleak Penmarin playground in Penryn ..

We say a fond farewell and thank you to Jeni who has been a Community Organiser on a grand scale , Host ,Employer,Mentor , Trouble shooter and much more ...she finishes up with CDCO and now will join the board of the CIC to guide with her wealth of experience. Jeni has selflessly supported Trainees , Organisers,Locality and COltd and continues to be the passionate activist that she is . .hopefully she will have a well deserved R&R we wish her huge success in her endeavours ..

Well the team, are now what we call senior Organisers .The transition from trainee into our new areas of work has had its hoops and hurdles . CDCO is an organiser driven group we have an elaborate network of relationships based on the foundation work of our training and the new emerging projects in our progression year . COltd as a national organisation has engaged some of our team in commissioned projects such a community mobilisation fund with Patrick Murphy or in mentoring and support role for Lin Chapman . CDCO has a joint team project with Devon and Cornwall housing starting in the New year . Of course we all have our individual projects . CDCO continues with its ambition to create opportunities to use the organising model through training and support across Devon and Cornwall . Relationship building as always , learning by our mistakes and moving forward .... oops Happy Christmas by the way
