The cove feels different at this time of year. The paths are quieter, the air is crisp and the sea becomes wonderfully wild beneath those dramatic autumn skies.

It is the perfect season to wrap up warm, wander through the woods or along the coast path, watch the waves breaking over the rocks and then warm up with a hot chocolate in the café.

Even our resident heron stopped to take in the view.

Dogs deserve holidays too 🐾

This lovely visitor has the right idea. Find the best seat in the café and wait patiently for table service.

At Lamorna Cove, your dog can be part of the whole break. Stay together in our dog friendly accommodation, visit the café and shop, enjoy the beach and explore the beautiful walks surrounding the cove.

Follow the South West Coast Path, take the inland route towards Mousehole or enjoy a peaceful wander through the woods before returning to the café for a well earned rest.
