Here’s a look at the instrumental tuition available to pupils in all year groups this academic year. If your child is joining us in September, here’s how it works:

Lessons are taught one-to-one by specialist visiting tutors during the school day. Pupils are excused from their timetabled lesson for approximately 20 minutes each week.

Lesson times rotate weekly so that pupils do not regularly miss the same subject.

Registration and costing information will be shared soon, so please keep an eye on this page next week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend!

Pupils in Years 7–13 can learn a wide range of instruments with our specialist tutors.

What a fantastic set of results for our Music pupils! 🌟

🎵 GCSE Music: 100% achieved A*-B
🎧 BTEC Music Technology: 100% achieved Level 2 Distinction–Level 1 Pass

We are incredibly proud of every single pupil and the hard work, creativity and commitment they have shown throughout their courses. It has been fantastic to see their talent develop and their dedication rewarded.

A huge congratulations to you all — you should be extremely proud of yourselves! 👏🎉

We wish you all the very best of luck with your next steps. Keep making music, keep creating and keep believing in yourselves! ❤️🎶

🎉 Congratulations to all our pupils on their outstanding GCSE results! 🎉

Today was a very special day at The Lewis School, and we could not be prouder of everything our young people have achieved. The atmosphere at school today was lovely. We are so glad we get to share this journey with all our pupils and parents.

These results are the reward for an enormous amount of dedication, resilience and hard work. To every pupil receiving results today: take a moment to recognise just how much you have accomplished. You should be incredibly proud of yourselves — we certainly are! 💚

A huge thank you must also go to our staff, whose commitment, encouragement and belief in our pupils makes such a difference, and to all our parents and carers for the support you have provided throughout their journey.

Today is about celebrating success, but it’s also about looking forward with excitement to everything that comes next.

👏 Congratulations to the Class of ’26 — enjoy your moment. You’ve earned it!

Massive congratulations to Max Clements in Year 13, who has achieved his Grade 8 Drums with Distinction! This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to his talent, dedication, and hard work.

Max is truly one of the most gifted drummers our school has ever seen, and our drum teacher, Mr Clifford, has described him as one of the most gifted drummers he has ever worked with.

We look forward to seeing all the brilliant things you go on to do, Max, and have no doubt that your character, resilience, and work ethic will open the door to many exciting opportunities.

Evan has been a valued member of the Music Department since Year 7. A talented and reliable musician, he has supported many performances over the years, always willing to step in and share his skills on both guitar and bass.

We’re incredibly proud of everything he has achieved. Well done, Evan, and we wish you every success in the future - especially as you begin the next chapter studying music at university.
