Today, after attending the Penarth Men's Shed meeting where we met some representatives from the Newport Men's Sheds we invited everyone up to see our location.

Penblwydd Hapus yn 5oed i ni
Happy 5th Anniversary to Us. Today marks 5 years of Borrowing from Benthyg Penarth 😁

We're open as usual though only doing a quiet acknowledgement today (with some great weather and lots of birdsong to enjoy as well).

Why not join us on Saturday 25th for the bigger celebration, and also the start of our ex-stock fundraising sale. From 1230-1430.

Big Thank yous to Gwyrddio Penarth Greening (GPG) , Benthyg Cymru , Rowley's The Jewellers , WCVA CGGC Resources Wales , Vale of Glamorgan Council and Welsh Government for being part of our journey to get here, and also our current funders The National Lottery Awards for All for keeping us going.

Yesterday's Big Games Mini Showcase at Penarth Pier Pavilion went very well with more than 2 dozen children and their parents/guardian stopping to play with them.

Some intense chess & connect four battles were going on and a new way to play with the Jenga blocks demonstrated (by some of the kids themselves).thank you to all who attended and also Penarth Pier Pavilion for use of the space. All these games are now available to borrow via our catalogue. We've even got some special Spring/Summer borrowing offers on the, and other items as part of our EVENTS & ENTERTAINMENTs promotions.
