Was at the VIP launch of Meridian Mayhem this afternoon .
What an amazing venue for the residents of Peacehaven to take their families to .. an indoor play centre for children of all ages , it has vibrant multi level play areas , a cafe , and a place for babies to crawl safely .
Children are given stamp books which encourages them to explore hidden treasures around the room .

It is a great venue which I will be definitely taking my grandchildren to at the weekend …

Saturday at the horticulture show .

The Peacehaven Horticultural society held their annual show at Community House at the weekend .
I attended with Judith Appiah-nti my consort and Wendy Veck my deputy mayor . It was a nice turn out by local growers and supporters .
I liked how the trophies were named after sponsors .. and the newest trophy sponsored by our former mayor , fellow councillor , Cllr Debbie Donavon was awarded to her for her own best tomatoes. Well done ! I had no idea she had such green fingers !
There were a lot of categories, so a lot of trophies were given out .
I felt very pleased to be asked to do this by Alison Standing the organiser , her grandchildren were so helpful in running a stall and sorting out the trophies .
I even had the pleasure to meet John Rundel our recent centenarian in the town . He deserves recognition for reaching 100 , a local resident who was there to support the show .
It was a lovely morning .. well done to all those that won and participated . Let’s hope next year attracts more growers and makers .
