More excellent prizes added

The Mayor's Christmas raffle prizes are now on show in the information office. £1 for a strip of 5 tickets.
All profits to the Mayors charities.
The draw will take place on the 14th December at the councils Christmas market at 14.30 in the Meridian Centre.

A Message from our recently elected Mayor, Cllr. Claude Cheta.

Our sincere thanks to Fatma Bacha & Harvey Browning,who both exceeded expectations during their term of office. We wish them both well for their futures. Well done, you have certainly raised the youth profile in the town.

Applications to serve as Youth Mayor for the town of Peacehaven will soon be open, elections will take place at PCS during September/October.

a sucessfull gala dinner evening for our Youth Mayor, Fatma Bacha. Our thanks to the Co-op and Sainsburys for donating the food & drinks. Fantastic entertainment by PCS students helped make the evening a success. The dinner was cooked by volunteers Sid & Sheila Eastman.

Peacehaven Town Council is delighted to announce the re-instatement of the position of Youth Mayor for the town. Members of the Policy & Finance committee voted to revive the role after a lapse of 6 years.
Fatma Bacha will hold the role of Youth Mayor and Harvey Browning Deputy Youth Mayor.
Both youngsters are student Presidents at Peacehaven Community School (PCS) and have thought about this prestigious position very hard. Fatma stated, “That being Youth Mayor for the Town of Peacehaven is an honour, a duty, a responsibility and a commitment for changes and improvements in our community”, she went on the say, and “I believe we are ready to reinstall it for the many years to come”.
Harvey added, “I truly believe that by bringing back the youth voice it will have a huge positive impact on the community and town itself”. “We would be able to bring fresh ideas from different perspectives of young youths which could possibly be something that haven’t happened before”.
