Due to the wet weather, Sports Day is now postponed.
We will now be holding Sports Day on Monday 15th June.

10/06/2026

We are hopeful that tomorrow's Sports Day will go ahead. However, in light of this week's unsettled weather we may need to postpone the event at short notice. The decision to postpone will be made on Thursday morning at 11:00am. You will be notified via Weduc shortly afterwards.
We are sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment a decision to postpone may cause. However the safety of the children is our primary concern.

After nearly 20 years at , Mrs Blyth has decided it is time to bid farewell on July 3rd.
"It's been a rollercoaster of a ride that I won't forget. Now it's time for me to spread my wings and continue to develop my passion for supporting children with reading difficulties."
We wish her the hugest of best wishes and good luck with the next stage of her career. We will all miss you ❤️🍀

In September 2026, The Priory Learning Trust is proud to be partnering with the Centre for Children's Workforce to offer a flexible two-year higher education qualification for people already working with children. This Foundation Degree is suitable for Early Years Practitioners, Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors and more. You will join a cohort of practitioners working across Burnham and Highbridge (the opportunity is not limited to those who work for the Trust - we are a host venue for the Centre for the Children's Workforce).
The degree allows people already working with children to learn alongside their job, resulting in Level 4 and 5 qualifications which provide a gateway to graduate jobs in multiple sectors.

The local sessions will run weekly in term time from The King Alfred School, 4.00pm - 8.00pm with occasional online sessions to build understanding with the national cohort.

How can you find out more?

You are invited to a local information session to find out more. Join us for a cake and to meet Beck from The Centre for Children's Workforce to find out about this exciting opportunity to study locally.
