1.

Oxford SU Disabilities Campaign believes the future is equal, inclusive, and accessible. Campaigning for better understanding and treatment of disabilities.
2. Supporting and advocating for disabled students at Oxford.

Friday 11-2: Disability Admin Drop-In / Body-doubling

If you have a pile of disability-related admin building up - those emails to your college accommodation team, or to book a new DAS assessment, notifying a tutor of an aspect of your SSP - we’ll be holding another ‘Disability Admin Body-Doubling’ session at the SU (4 Worcester Street) this Friday, 11am-2pm. There’ll be hot chocolate/tea/coffee, quiet space to independently get on with admin in a supportive environment, and if you’re stuck approaching a problem you’re dealing with, can ask for signposting from a friendly DisCam volunteer.

👥 Introducing our Travel Buddies scheme to help es**rt you from your college to Freshers’ Fair Quiet Hour, if you’re unsure if you’ll be able to navigate your way! Fill in the form in our bio to be matched up with a fellow student to accompany you 🙂

The Freshers’ Fair Quiet Hour is Wednesday 9am-10am, where there are no scheduled college visits and you can avoid the hundred of students who turn up at peak times, which can be quite noisy and overwhelming, as well as more difficult to move around in. Therefore, we recommend that disabled students attend the official Quiet Hour slot.
