EX BLUE SURVIVOR

Another great performance throughout, on a bitter November weekend.

Sir John Moore company were introduced to the basics of the field. Covering lessons on, setting up a basher, administration in the field, moving with and without weapons, patrolling, and hand signals.

Alan Brooke company developed on lessons learnt their previous weekend. Their weekend consisted of section Attacks, Combat Estimate Practical, recces, casualty Extraction and introduction to Pl Comd / Pl Sjt Appointments.

We look forward to more trg weekends in the New Year.

✨Alan Brooke company dinner ✨

We were lucky enough to have our MOD B company dinner this week. To start we had an etiquette lesson, before making our way to the mess for drinks reception. A delicious three course meal was served and followed by a poem written by OCdt Bihari which gained plenty of laughs as he picked fun of fellow cadets. A great effort from Mr Iwaram as VICE, where he only had to do one Port fine. After the dinner we finished the very successful evening with dancing and mess games.

It was a beautiful night and we look forward to the next dinner. Thank you to JUO Kilham, JUO Dunstan and Colour for organising such a good night!

Earlier today OCdt’s from OUOTC took part in the remembrance parade in Oxford. They spent the weekend practicing drill and making sure all uniform looked pristine.
