We run fantastic, fun baby swimming classes and toddler swimming classes across Oxfordshire. We have baby and toddler swimming lessons in Milton, Abingdon, Boars Hill and Goring Heath (RG8). ⭐️ Star of the Week – Oscar ⭐️💦

Here’s what teacher Emily had to say…

Oscar absolutely loves the water and is always a delight to teach. He arrives at every lesson with a huge smile, a cheerful hello, and endless enthusiasm, ready to jump in and give everything a go. His confidence in the pool has grown so much, and it has been wonderful to watch him develop his swimming skills. He is really starting to use his arms and legs effectively and is not afraid to put his face in the water. 💦

Oscar is always eager to try new activities and takes great pride in showing both his teachers and parents the new skills he has learned. His positive attitude, determination and willingness to have a go at everything make every lesson a pleasure.

What makes Oscar even more special is his kindness towards others. He is always the first to clap for his swimming buddies and cheer them on when they achieve something new. It’s lovely to see such encouragement and support in the pool, and he should be very proud of the example he sets.

Well done, Oscar! We are all so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you achieve next. Keep up the fantastic work! ⭐️💦

This is SwimKidz Oxfordshire.

This evening we had our Summer Team Get Together, which I named Stronger Together because we really are, and it couldn’t have been more fitting. Held at Clouds Studio – The Wellness Barn, it was the perfect setting for an evening of connection, challenge and plenty of laughs. Just what we all needed.

SwimKidz Oxfordshire met Barre, and it definitely put us all to the test! Huge thanks to Grace for leading such a fantastic class. We pushed ourselves, discovered muscles we clearly hadn’t used in a while, worked together as a team and had so much fun along the way. The evening was rounded off perfectly with iced coffees, matcha lattes and biscuits 🥰

I’m also over the moon that Fay was able to come and join us this evening, just 6 days post-surgery. What an absolute champ she is 🥹💪

A huge thank you to Clouds Studio for hosting such a wonderful evening for us. The team have already discussed coming back for our next get together, so we will definitely be returning. Until then, we’ll continue to do what we do best, getting back in the pool to teach our wonderful swimmers 💙🏊‍♂️

I can’t wait to share a glimpse of our evening together. ✨

🌟 Star of the Week 🌟

A huge congratulations to siblings Freddie and Alfie! Sorry this post is a week late 😅

Both boys attend swimming lessons with me (Tara) alongside their wonderful grandma, who is absolutely fantastic with them both and such a great support.

Alfie comes to lessons smiling, ready, and eager to get going every single week. He is always full of positive energy, handing out high-fives and bringing such happy vibes to the class. Alfie is always keen to learn the next skill, try the next activity, and happily joins in with everything as well as helping Tara with her demonstrations. He even loves to come and watch his big brother swim and cheer him on. Well done, Alfie!

And Freddie, one of my Mini Sharky’s! Freddie is an absolute delight to teach. Freddie always gives everything a really good go, even when he feels a little nervous at times and is a great listener. With encouragement from his grandma, he shows real bravery and determination and it is paying off beautifully! Freddie is now swimming to his Grandma independently for short distances on his front and jumping in on his own confidently, which is just wonderful to see. Well done, Freddie!

I am super proud of you both, and grateful I get to teach you both each week. Keep up the amazing work, boys! ⭐

One of the most important water safety skills anyone can learn is how to float on their back 💙

Floating helps you:
✔️ Stay calm
✔️ Conserve energy
✔️ Keep your airway clear
✔️ Call for help if needed

Learning to float on the back is one of these vitally important lifesaving skills we teach from day one 🛟

However, Please remember:

⭐️ Star of the Week - Bernie & Reggie ⭐️

A huge well done to twins Bernie and Reggie! These two have been swimming with us for nearly a year now, it has been such a joy watching them grow in confidence and ability over that time. They always arrive with huge smiles and such enthusiasm for their lessons.


This weekend I spotted them standing watching the class before theirs, excitedly waiting for their turn to swim, and it genuinely made me so happy to see how much they love being in the water. Their excitement, positivity and willingness to join in every week make them an absolute pleasure to teach. Well done boys — keep up the amazing work! From teacher, Alice 💙
