Closing out Hilary Term the only way we know how ✨

Still thinking about our incredible event with Chef Fregz at Saïd Business School — a celebration of African food, culture, and community right in the heart of Oxford. From bold flavours to shared stories, it was more than just a meal… it was an experience 🍽️🔥

So special to see African cuisine and creativity take centre stage in that space, bringing people together and sparking conversations that go beyond the table.

Grateful for everyone who came through and made it unforgettable. Here’s to the memories we made this term… and everything still to come.

An evening of elegance, culture and celebration at the Oxford Africa Business Forum African Gala ✨

A beautiful close to a powerful forum, bringing together leaders, students and changemakers to honour the richness of African identity, creativity and community. From the energy in the room to the style, music and conversation, the Gala was a reminder that Africa’s story is not only one of business and policy, but also of culture, pride and joy.

The Oxford Africa Business Forum 2026 was a reminder that Africa’s future will be shaped not only by opportunity, but by the choices made now.
Under the theme Africa at a Crossroads: Redefining Growth in an Era of Technological and Geopolitical Change, the Forum brought together voices from across business, policy, finance, technology, and academia to reflect on what this moment demands: stronger institutions, bolder leadership, more intentional investment, and growth built to last.
It was a day of thoughtful conversation, serious reflection, and renewed conviction that the continent’s future must be shaped on its own terms.
Thank you to our speakers, sponsors, partners, and attendees for making this year’s Forum such a meaningful success.
Key takeaway: lasting progress will depend not on promise alone, but on the willingness to build resilient systems, back transformative ideas, and pursue inclusive growth with clarity and purpose.
