A request placed before 7.30pm will be available after 3.30pm the following day. Deliveries on weekdays.

We are all different, but how do we come to understand other people’s lives and values? Books can give a voice to different lived experiences and promote understanding across different cultures and communities. The Bodleian Libraries would like our students to tell them about a book you think everyone should read that illuminates a community you identify with.

The Weston Library has a pop-up library in its main hall where students and the wider public can sit and read. They change the content twice a year and would like to include your book suggestions in the autumn.

Send the Bod a book suggestion and tell them in a couple of sentences why it has a voice that should be heard. Email: [email protected] by 31 October 2022

The LAC Library has reopened after the holidays. A reminder that opening time is 9.30am, Mon-Fri, until further notice. Also, the Basement Stacks remain closed to readers due to building works - though books can be fetched on request by library staff. Best wishes for 2022!

Following the University's move to BCP Level 2 (see https://www.ox.ac.uk/coronavirus/status), and in line with Bodleian Libraries policy, the LAC Library will be opening at 9.30am Mon-Fri till further notice.
