Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteers to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the community and possess skills in IT, English communication, As a Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting our initiatives and providing assistance to those in need.Volunteering roles are Community fundraiser SOC 3445, unpaid volunteer role, Mental health project workers SOC 3229 unpaid volunteer role, Advocacy workers SOC 3229 unpaid volunteer role , Youth and Community workers welfare services SOC 3221, Outreach workers / key workers SOC 3229 , project worker welfare services SOC 3229
This is a 12 months sponsored roles you would support us with your visa cost and accommodation cost whilst supporting a good cause we would provide feeding and transport
Responsibilities
Assist with various tasks and activities as directed by staff members.
Provide companionship and support to individuals, particularly those with domestic abuse
Help organise events and programmes aimed at enhancing community engagement.
Utilise IT skills to assist with administrative tasks or digital communication.
Communicate effectively with team members and service users to ensure a positive experience.
Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge related to the role.
Requirements
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with common software applications.
Experience or knowledge in dementia care is highly desirable.
A compassionate attitude towards helping others and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the dignity of all individuals served.
